A love story …
I spoke about this project a while back and finally this year I completed this project.
Thomas bought this bicycle with the first earned money back in the early 80ies. He used this quite a while and later then he stored this bike in his garage.
The best thing he could do – limited humidity – some dust and some dirt. But the material is great. As it always was when you spend your money in quality products.
Thomas had some wishes to be done … clincher wheels vs the tubulars he had. Some parts of course needed a lot of treatment. Even the hubs got new bearings.
Some polish and some more polish later the frame and the other parts got shiny and look now almost like new.
